Here’s a Beatles/Paul Mccartney fact.
Yesterday written by Paul McCartney, is THE most covered song in history, with over 3,000 covers. This song was a work in progress for about 2ish(?) years for Paul McCartney. He actually thought of the tune while staying with Jane and her family. Apparently, one morning he was on the piano and Jane’s mother came in asking who wanted scrambled eggs. With only a tune and no words in his mind he simply applied the words, “scrambled eggs, oh my baby how I love your legs” in order to remember the melody. AKA. Those were the original words to the song Yesterday. This song was a joke between the band until about two years later, when McCartney woke up one morning and wrote the words we now know as Yesterday.
Here is Paul McCartney and Jimmy Fallon singing the ~original~ lyrics to Yesterday.
P.S. If any of the information I said above was wrong, than just let me know.
