1. How does that make One Direction better? What the actual fuck, since when was the X Factor a variable that determined some band’s superiority?! And I’d also like to add that the show wasn’t around in the 60s, in case you didnt know you idiot. Not to mention the Beatles didn’t need a bloody show to get noticed.
2. Oh my god I want to strangle you right now. HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT?! Their songs are fucking amazing. Let It Be, Hey Jude, All You Need is Love… to name a few of the very well known ones. And I am the Walrus is no damn rubbish! John wrote that when he was high, I bet none of One Direction could even come up with such clever phrases if they were given the lifetime to do so. And they wrote more songs than I could count.
3. The Beatles didn’t need anyones fucking input other than their own to become a band. All they needed was a yearning to write music and share it with anyone who cared to take a listen, but were just fine writing it for themselves. They did it because they loved it, not because they speculated fandom and money.
4. It’s obvious that the superior recordings where by The Beatles you brat. They took out their first album so quick because that is what was asked of them. And why would time spent on an album determine such? All that matters is the actual music.
5. This is such a fucking lie. They loved love each other more than a tweet saying ‘I miss you’ or any other word for that fact could express. They dont need to share their love publicly to prove they did. And even the best of friends have quarrels and grow apart at times, especially when they have been together for nearly 10 years. I could go on about this, but I wont bother with such a narrow minded person such as yourself.
6. Refer to point 1 for this. Also, John Lennon died in 1980, at that time Simon was barely 21, and not a well known man as he is now, so how could he, and why would he bother anyways? He is John fucking Lennon, he doesn’t need to meet Simon Cowell, Simon Cowell should’ve met John Lennon, not the other way around. And they had their own people to look up to, Brian Epstein, Mal Evans, George Martin… just to name a few.
7. It’s called experimenting. Who the fuck cares how many times they changed their name? That doesn’t make One Direction better.
8. Oho, excuse me bitch, do you even know anything about Cynthia Lennon other than she was a Beatles wife? No? Then don’t make assumptions. I couldn’t care less who One Direction dated, and that shouldn’t even affect their standings as a group either, Jesus.
9. Wrong. And the Beatles were famous for so many reasons, the biggest one being their music style and experimenting in case it wasn’t so obvious, and the fact that they revolutionized music with sounds and effects way ahead of their time. One Direction was made famous, as you said, by entering a television show, and by being supported by Simon Cowell, not to mention all pre-teen girls find them ‘hot.’
10. Ok, I’m sorry, I can’t take this point seriosuly. Like, Pokemon? Really? That important huh? The Beatles represented Britain, music, the 60s… The individual Beatles represented many other things too. John Lennon represents activism, the peace movement, honesty… Paul McCartney stood for humanity, animal rights, and honesty and activism too. George Harrison represents spirituality, faith, activism, individuality… Richard Starkey stood for humour, optimism, happiness, caring….. And together they stood for the most important value in my opinion, love.

So it is evident, that really, no other band could even come close to The Beatles, least of all One Direction. The Beatles have taught me so many values, they make me happy whenever I’m sad, they help me forget all the bad things going around in the world through simply looking at their faces, or by listening to them sing. There never was, never is, never will be, anything like The Beatles.
